Even before the pandemic, 34 million Americans lived without access to computers, laptops, tablets, or other internet connected devices. Today, there are:
Children who cannot complete schoolwork at home.
Young people struggling to connect with a digital world.
Parents who cannot search for jobs.
Senior citizens that cannot search for essential services.
In cooperation with Digitunity and the Technology Conservation Group, the Done with IT mail-in, recycling program is helping to close the digital divide by organizing the refurbishment and return of the devices we collect to do good in your community.
Important Note: Using Done with IT, you can be assured of complete data eradication on your returned devices.
All devices are shipped directly to a secure, Certified R2 facility that meets strict criteria for data destruction. Your hard drives and other storage media will either be wiped and/or physically destroyed.
Partners
TERRA’s collection and data destruction services are provided locally by the Technology Conservation Group. Devices collected outside of the Greater Louisville region may be sent to another participating certified recycling facility.
